Overview

At Ringwood Training we provide students with a purpose built facility for welding and fabrication to industry standards. Our trainers are highly respected in their field and have years of experience.

We pride ourselves on our small class sizes for our  Basic Lathe Short Course.

At our 5 day Basic Lathe Short Course you will learn to: 

• Set up lathe tooling
• Cut Thread
• Knurl
• Machine Tapers

Lathe and mill on mild steel, plastic and aluminium. 

Available Course Dates 

Saturdays 8:30am – 12:30pm (5 sessions)

• 20, 27 April, 4, 11, 18 May 2024

Materials

Students are required to wear:

• Leather work boots
• Cotton Drill Full Sleeve Overalls/Long Sleeved Shirt
• Safety Glasses
• Drink Bottles

Registration Information

Cost is $630.00 and must be paid at the time of registration to secure your place

Note: Course dates are concurrent. Make up classes or partial refunds cannot be accommodated due to course demand.
