I own a medium sized automotive workshop and I did air conditioning training during my apprenticeship but as my qualification was quite old I was unable to get a current ARC tick accreditation. I was offered the opportunity to upgrade my qualification at Ringwood training and I am very glad I did.

Tony the trainer has a very vast and deep up to date understanding of all aspects of air conditioning for a seemingly complete range of vehicles and applications. The course was run over 3 days, but it would have taken weeks if we were to attempt to extract the decades of experience & knowledge from his head. Tony willingly gave over his contact details so we could contact him in the future if ever find any difficult issues.

The course included additional modules than the basics required for the ARC tick licence, time was taken to clearly show in-depth diagnostic and repair procedures even including hose making / repair. We spent majority of the time in the workshop doing practical work and diagnostics using a wide range of up-to-date tools.

I plan on sending my staff for the next round of AC training at Ringwood Training
