Automotive Studies will suit students who are looking for a pathway into automotive industries and/or students who want to include a “hands-on”, practical, applied learning study that contributes to their VCE or VCAL program.

Pathway to SBAT (School-based Traineeships) and Apprenticeship training is available at Ringwood Training.

Course outcomes:

  • Accredited course – AUR20716 Certificate II in Automotive Vocational Preparation
  • VCAL credits, and VCE credits in up to 4 units over 2 years
  • ATAR 10% increment for units 3-4

Ringwood Secondary College/Ringwood Training is an RTO that offers apprenticeship training:

  • AUR20516 Certificate II in Automotive Servicing Technology (SBAT) and
  • AUR30616 Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (Apprenticeship)
